East Coast Language College is an official IELTS Test Centre. Study IELTS Preparation and sit your IELTS exam with us in Halifax. 

Purpose: The purpose of the IELTS Preparation (IP) program is to enable students to acquire the skills they need to succeed on the IELTS proficiency test.

Course Requirements: The students who study in the IELTS course must be at a minimum level of ECLC’s Skills 300 course, which is an intermediate course, when they commence studying in IELTS. They must be at a Common European Framework of Reference (CERF) benchmark of B1 to study in IELTS, which is equivalent to an IELTS band score of approximately 5.0.

Students who take IELTS, which is an afternoon class, study in our General Skills program in the morning.
